I have been a professional hairstylist since 1998. I’ve apprenticed under many wonderful people and have learned specialties like curly hair care, detailed texture cutting, precision cutting, the science behind hair color, perms, vintage 40s and 50s styling, editorial work, basic barbering, and extensions. I’ve developed my own methods and products for locking hair and have mastered many techniques during my time as a loctician. I am currently an undergraduate at University of Michigan. I work full time when I am not in classes and am in the salon 3 to 4 days per week during the semester. I study biochemistry and philosophy and enjoy bringing these ideas into my work at the salon.
Transgender, gay, non-binary people are all welcome. All races and all hair textures are serviced with professionalism. Nursing mothers are also accommodated.
Please note, because I am open to servicing all races and textures, the salon has become a hub for bi-racial people who seem to have issues when being serviced at a salon that does not specialize by texture but rather by culture. Biracial hair has its own set of needs which I understand.
I am an expert loctician and can lock anybody’s hair with professional precision.
