Mike and I had the pleasure of shooting with Maeve. She and I met at Grateful Dreads where I styled her hair then we went to Mike’s studio for a mega session!

Jordan appeared around the corner with his bike! We talked and soon after set up an appointment to have his dreads fixed up. It had been a little while, so this was a nice treat! He likes the palm-roll method for tightening which created a nice smooth lock for hair that can hold it.

There are so many different people who come to the salon for dreads work! I love meeting everyone and helping people with their hair really makes me feel great! I believe getting mature dreads washed in a salon has got to be one of the better feelings in life!!

Jayden came to Grateful Dreads for some color. I was so happy to see her friend Megan with her, and of course I colored her hair too!
I love being surrounded by flowers! It’s always a surprise when a new flower appears that hadn’t bloomed the year before. I’m thoroughly enjoying the beautiful gardens at the salon!
The sign is made and installed! The logo is designed by Anja Clark, and the sign was made by Zeke Mallory. I love the new look!
David Hill, Mike Frieseman, and I met near the water to get some shots of David and his beautiful hair. David has such a great style, and the summer weather is so nice to photograph. Mike found a fantastic spot, and we got some cool shots!
